Dr Sarah Kennea lives and works in Whistler, BC. She is the founder and Medical Director of Whistler Medical Aesthetics, a state-of-the-art clinic and training centre in the coastal mountain region of BC.
Dr. Kennea graduated with her Medical Degree from the University of Glasgow in 2001 with an Honors degree in Immunology and Doctor of Medicine.
Dr Kennea has qualifications and extensive experience in general practice and forensic medicine. Part of her career was served in the army. She has a wide range of medical interests which has taken her to qualify in such diverse areas as first responder medicine and the management of medical catastrophes.
Her time spent working in psychiatry gave her a lifelong interest in mental health and mental wellbeing which has fed into her approach to aesthetic medicine. Deep seated insecurities are often addressed in her aesthetic work.
Her approach and expertise in the MD Codes (injectables) has earned her a growing reputation, drawing patients from many international locations. Clients appreciate her precise eye for detail coupled with subtle, natural outcomes that enhance their natural features. Her work has brought her film actors whose careers depend on natural results which do not affect full mobility. Her work on an actor’s face is guided by a study of their face in action on the screen.
Dr Kennea is working closely with other experts in this field to further the research into the use of MD Codes and Myomodulation for medical applications. This includes working with patients with facial injuries and neurological weaknesses.

Karissa is the latest member of our Nursing staff. Karissa got her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) in Quesnel BC, where she was born and raised.
Karissa is licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in BC and has worked in nursing for 11 yrs.
Karissa has a background in Maternity, having worked in the Labour and Delivery areas of our Public Health system in Quesnel, Williams Lake, Nanaimo and Fort St John.
Karissa and her husband of 15 years moved to Whistler with three 3 boys and this has helped her follow her ambition of moving into the Aesthetics area of nursing. Karissa will study injectable medicine under Dr. Kennea as well as applying her clinical skills and knowledge in our clinic.

Krista joins us from Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario. She made the permanent move to Whistler in July 2020 with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
Krista graduated with a Diploma in Business Administration from Conestoga College and has held management and administration positions at the Waterloo District School Board, a Medical Aesthetics clinic and a Plastic Surgeons practise.
Krista is consulting for all things on Injectables (Botox & Dermal Fillers), Skin Health and Body Contouring. She also has joined The Body Studio team and continues her education and hands on training with Coolsculpting and the multiple other technologies deployed in the body studio.
